Gulf Cooperation Council and the expulsion of Arafat

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) secretary general Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad al-Ateyah welcomed the United Nations' General Assembly resolution which called on Israel not to exile Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Yasser Arafat or to take any acts against him stressing that the United Nations' resolution supports the peace process in the region, stands against the Israeli aggressive policies, boosts the United Nations' position and its role of keeping peace.
