Morocco to host IT expo

Morocco will host here next February 11-14 the Information Technologies Exhibition (SitExpo 2004).
The exhibition will be organized by the Professional Association of Information Technologies (Apebi) and Formatiscom company in collaboration with international agencies from the Mideast, Europe and Africa.
Organizers told a press conference Wednesday the fair will showcase products and services by over 250 national and international exhibitors representing 600 companies.
Aperbi estimates that information technology and telecommunication sectors in Morocco will represent by 2008 sales of more than 20 billion Dhs (US $2 billion) and will generate over 60,000 direct jobs and 200,000 indirect jobs.
