Baker plan will is not viable solution to Sahara issue, official

The latest proposal floated by the UN secretary general's personal envoy for the Sahara, James Baker, "will not bring a viable solution to the Sahara issue and it threatens stability in the region," deputy-president of Sahrawi Affairs Consultative Council, El Ghailani Dlimi, asserted Tuesday.
Dlimi told French "Radio Orient," "the inhabitants of the Sahara will never accept a referendum that does not allow all components of Sahrawi tribes to express their opinion."
