Israel kills One Palestinian; students arrested; 3 homes demolished

One Palestinian was killed yesterday by the Israeli occupation forces during fire exchange with the occupation forces which continued its aggressions against the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, and as a result, three Palestinian homes were destroyed and Israel launched a campaign of arrest targeting 21 Palestinians including ten students of Beir Zeit university.
On the other hand, an Israeli military spokesman said that the army detained on Tuesday in the West Bank 11 Palestinians including 8 of the Hamas movement near Ramullah and three other Palestinians in Nablus and Jenin.
Palestinian sources said the occupation forces detained 10 students from Beir Zeit university during a breaking in campaign yesterday at dawn. The sources explained that the occupation forces escorted by large number of military vehicles broke into Beir Zeit town yesterday amid intensive fire and started to breaking into the houses of the university students in a brutal way and detained 10 of them.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army destroyed a tunnel in Rafah area to the south of Gaza it said was used to smuggle weapons from Egypt. The Israeli military spokesman said that one Israeli soldier was slightly wounded during this operation and in a fire exchange with the Palestinians. The same source explained that some 30 tunnels of this sort were found in Rafah and all of them were destroyed.
