Syrian- Kuwaiti parliamentary cooperation

Syria's Deputy Speaker of the People's Assembly, Mohammed Isam al-Jamal, received in Damascus yesterday a delegation representing the Kuwaiti Workers Association headed by Chairman of the Association, Thabit Haroon.
Talks during the meeting dealt with boosting the bilateral relations between the two states.
Al-Jamal stressed the strong historical relations between Syria and Kuwait, and the importance of pushing the Arab solidarity process forward to face the challenges.
He pointed out to the availability of investment opportunities in Syria, and to the legislative power's role in realizing developments in the economic field.
For his part, Haroon stressed the strong Syrian- Kuwaiti relations, pointing out to the Syrian role supporting the Kuwaiti people.
