Israel kills a 25-year-old Palestinian; uproots 2000 olive trees in occupied East Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces shot dead today a 25-year-old Palestinian citizen in the town of Dura, near the Hebron, the IPC reported.

In another report, IPC said today that "Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed Tuesday two Palestinian houses in the Gaza Strip refugee camp of Rafah..Israeli troops invaded early morning the southern part of the city and blew up a house owned by Fathi Barhoom. Israeli tanks have intensively opened fire at the civiliansÕ houses preventing any attempt of protest. One more house was partially damaged, security sources told IPC correspondent."

"Earlier on Monday, Israeli bulldozers uprooted more than 2000 olive trees in the occupied East Jerusalem," Palestine News Agency (WAFA) reported.
I"sraeli bulldozers uprooted hundreds of fruitful olive trees and razed vast areas of arable land in the neighborhoods of Sawahra and Wadi Alnar, south of the holy Jerusalem city," eyewitness, Mohamed MashÕhor told WAFA.

IPC reported that "According to the Palestinian National Information Centre (PNIC), at least 53656 houses were destroyed while 940313 trees were uprooted by Israeli occupation forces in the last 36 months ago."
