Local council employee gets one year sentence for vote rigging attempt

The court of first instance of Oued Eddahab-Dakhla (southern morocco) sentenced on Wednesday a local authority employee to one year in prison and a fine of 1,000 DHs (US $100) for delivering a voter card to a person other than its due holder and faking the signature in an administrative document.
