Local polls: candidate dies of heart attack after squabble with opponent

A candidate to the local polls held this Friday in Morocco died of a heart attack after a squabble with another candidate near a polling station.
Ahmed El Azizi, 57, who represented the Progress and Socialism Party (PPS), had a quarrel with a candidate of the Istiqlal party (PI) whom he blamed for talking one of his sympathizers into voting for his party.
Legal sources said the two men did not resort to violence and that El Azizi died on the spot due to a heart attack.
