New tape for al-Qaida; al-Ghamidi reads his own will
Regional, Politics, 9/13/2003

Al-Jazeera TV yesterday broadcasted a televised tape showing Saeed al-Ghamidi, one of the executors of September 11 attacks against the USA two years ago, while reading his own "will" in which he commended the martyrdom operations in Palestine against the Israelis, adding that these operations have "moral effect" on the Arabs and he threatened the Americans of more attacks.

Al-Ghamidi, who carries the Saudi nationality, dated his message as on December 23, 2000. The tape included shots showing al-Ghamidi receiving training to launch fire and missiles in a desert or mountainous region, al-Jazeera said it is Afghanistan. The tape also includes sketches of the voice of the leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden in which he commended "martyr Saeed al-Ghamidi."

Al-Ghamidi was among other 19 Islamists who carried out the attacks of September 11 on the board of the plane of flight number 93 that fell in Pennsylvania following a struggle between the highjackers and passengers of the plane.

The al-Ghamidi tape comes two days after al-Jazeera broadcast of a tape showing Bin Laden and his assistant Ayman al-Zawahiri wondering in a mountainous area and a message in which al-Zawahiri threatened the US of other attacks.
