Southern Moroccan delegation tours Europe

A delegation representing Moroccan southern provinces is currently touring Europe to express refusal of any solution to the Sahara conflict that does not take into account Morocco's full sovereignty over its territories and that is likely to jeopardize stability in the region.
The delegation, that arrived Wednesday in Paris, will express the Moroccan Sahara inhabitants' resolve to defend their Moroccan identity and mobilize behind King Mohammed VI. Led by Brahim Hakim, former foreign minister of the Polisario (Algeria-backed guerrilla movement claiming the independence of Morocco's southern provinces), is scheduled to hold meetings with French senior officials as well as the French and international press in Paris.
