Israeli collective punishment escalate, 18 Palestinians homes demolished, electricity cut from 6 towns

The Israeli occupation forces yesterday escalated its violation of the Palestinian territories and the implementation of collective punishment against the Palestinians.

These forces demolished 15 houses in Rafah camp and other three houses in Ramullah and Hebron, while they severed the electricity grid from 6 towns in the West Bank.

A spokesman for the general security directorate in Gaza said the occupation forces destroyed in full 15 houses for citizens in Rafah camp during the incursion operation carried out with the support of several tanks and armored vehicles."

The spokesman added that incursion operation "which started after midnight yesterday in territories that fall under the Palestinian control in Rafah camp were made under a cover of military helicopters and amid intensive fire and artillery shelling by the Israeli tanks at houses of civilians."
