AL chief holds Israel responsible for Palestinian conditions deterioration

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa held Israel responsible for the deterioration of the Palestinian situation due to its aggressive and provocative acts against the Palestinians. In a statement to reporters in Cairo yesterday before leaving to Russia, he said that it is expected that the International Quartet Committee will interfere to stop the deterioration in the peace process.
Concerning his visit to Russia, Moussa said that this visit comes in the framework of the explanation of the Arab position regarding the developments in the Iraqi arena and the Palestinian territories.
