Syria EIB contract to finance Mid and small project

Syria's Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Ghassan Rifaee signed a contract Yesterday in Damascus with European Investment Bank Vice- Chairman that provides for financing the mid and small sized projects.
The contract provides that the European Investment Bank will offer a comprehensive loan of 40 Millions Euro for financing the mid and small projects of the private sector.
Refai stressed the importance of signing this contract which gives a positive signal on the progress of relations between Syria and the Bank.
For his part, the vice chairman of the bank expressed his satisfaction over signing this contract which is considered a pioneer project where all capabilities are offered to promote the investment market degree in Syria.
