Booby trapped car in front of an American headquarters kills Iraqis in Irbil

A booby trapped car went off yesterday in front of an office used by the American forces in Irbil to the north of Iraq resulted in killing two persons believed to be Iraqis and wounding several persons in neighboring buildings including children, according to the Turkish CNN TV.

The TV said that the office is situated between Irbil and Tallet Salah Eddine where the general premises of the American forces in the area is positioned.

The explosion resulted in the collapse of the building. However, news reports said that most of the wounded are residents in neighboring building and Kurdish fighters.
