Al-Assad receives Kharazi

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received yesterday Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi and an accompanying delegation on the situation in Iraq and the role of the neighboring countries "in extending aid to the Iraqi people to restore their sovereignty and to exercise their self-determination and with the importance of the Syrian-Iranian coordination in this regard."
The two sides reviewed the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Kharazi also met with Vice President Abdulhalim Khaddam
