Jordan-Israel, Politics, 9/8/2003
The Jordanian King Abdullah II yesterday accepted the credentials of the new Israeli ambassador Yaqoub Haddas in an official ceremony held at Raghdan Royal palace.
The new Israeli ambassador arrived in Jordan last week. Haddas is the fourth Israeli ambassador in Jordan since the signing of the peace treaty between the two countries in October 1994.
The Jordanian news agency said that the ceremony held for accepting the credentials of the Israeli ambassador was held in the course of "celebrations to accept the credentials of several sisterly and friendly ambassadors " including Qatar, Indonesia, Holland and Cyprus.
