Brussels athletics meet supports UNICEF project in morocco
Morocco, Local, 9/6/2003
The painting by Jef Van Tuerenhout that served as an ad for the Van Damme athletics meet in Brussels (Sept.5), was sold for 9,000 Euros with proceeds to go to a UNICEF project to build a school near Marrakesh, central Morocco.
The school in a remote village will be built thanks to an agreement signed last June between the Van Damme Memorial and the United Nations children fund.
