On the meeting of the Arab Parliament Union

Speaker of Arab Parliament Union and Chairman of the Sudanese National Council, Ibrahim al-Taher stressed yesterday in Khartoum, Sudan, that the meeting of the Arab Parliament Union's juducial and political committees scheduled to be held in Khartoum on 9th and 10th of this month aims at studying the suggestions of the establishment of the unified Arab parliament.
For his part, Secretary General of the Sudanese National Council asserted that the idea of the Unified Arab Parliament embodies the Arab states' interests in this stage. He pointed out that delegations from Arab members countries, the Arab League's representative and experts in the law are to participate in the meeting.
