Ivanov calls on the US, international community to settle conditions in Iraq

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov stressed that the situation in Iraq is getting worse calling on the United States not to deceive the world opinion regarding the Iraqi issue.
In a statement yesterday he called on the international community to help Iraq in order to solve its problems stressing the importance of evaluating the situation in Iraq objectively.
He underlined the contradiction between the statement of U.S. Secretary of State concerning the Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and Washington's stance announced few months ago regarding this issue.
