Lahoud confers with Solana on ME Peace

Lebanon's President Emile Lahoud has called the international community to exert pressures on Israel to halt its "aggression practices against Palestinians."
During his meeting with the High Representative for European Union's Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana in Beirut yesterday, Lahoud called the EU to play a wider role in a way to help the region get out of the current situation.
