Morocco, Mauritania sign energy and mining agreement

Morocco and Mauritania signed Thursday a framework agreement to consolidate bilateral cooperation in energy and mining.
The agreement provides for partnership between the two Maghreban countries' private and public sectors and for human resources promotion through the training of cadres and engineers in Moroccan specialized institutions.
Moroccan energy and mining minister, Mohammed Boutaleb,started on August 23 a six-day visit to Mauritania at the invitation of his peer, Zeidane Ould H'meyda.
