al-Jazeera: Saddam Hussein denies any link to assassinating al-Hakim

In a recorded tape sent to al-Jazeera TV, the toppled Iraqi President Saddam Hussein denied any link to the assassination of the chairman of the higher council of the Islamic revolution in Iraq Ayatullah Muhammad Baqer al-Hakim.
An explosion took place near the tomb of Imam Ali in al- Najaf last Friday resulted in killing the Shiite Imam al-Hakim and more than 124 persons as they finished Friday' s prayers.
