Schroeder hails opening of German University in Cairo on Oct. 4

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has hailed the opening of the German University in Cairo (GUC) on October 4 as the first German educational institution set up outside the country.
Schroeder also expressed happiness at President Hosni Mubarak's attending of the GUC inauguration ceremony.
