Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim killed in bomb explosion; wide condemnations

Abdul-Aziz Al-Hakim, has asserted death of his brother Leader of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim. During a phone call with Lebanese Al-Manar TV on Friday, Abdul-Aziz asserted his brother's death in the bombing took place in Najaf yesterday.
Iran has condemned the bombardment which caused the death of Leader of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim.
In a statement issued yesterday, Iranian Government held the American forces responsible for this operation, due to America's responsibility in preserving security in Iraq.
In Rome, British Foreign Minister Jack Straw, who is paying a visit to Italy, denounced the assassination of al-Hakim expressing anger over this aggressive act.
In Beirut, Secretary General of Hizbullah, Hasan Nasrallah condemned the assassination of Baqer al-Hakim.
In a statement, Nasrallah stressed the Iraqi people's ability to save their country through honest effort and awareness of what is going on.
