Athletics: Morocco's el-Guerrouj cruises to 5000 m final

Less than 24 hours after winning the world title on 1500 m, Morocco's Hicham El-Guerrouj made it Thursday to the final of the 5000 M of the World Athletics Championships, held in Paris. Another Moroccan, Abderrahim Goumri booked ticket to the same final, due on Sunday.
Former world record holder of the distance, Salah Hissou, failed to qualify for the final.
