Hudeibi calls for supporting the Jihad of Palestinians against occupation

The General Guide of the Muslims Brothers in Egypt, Mamoun al-Hudeibi called yesterday on the Arab citizens to support the Jihad of the Palestinians and to boycott the American and Israeli goods.

In a statement, al-Hudeibi considered that "it is today the duty of the nation, rulers and peoples, to support our brothers and people in Palestine and to support the struggle of the Palestinians there materially and morally as well as to encourage and continue full boycott of the Zionist and American products."

He added "we call on Muslim rulers at this critical time to carry their due role and shoulder their responsibilities before the Almighty God and then before their people. Confining just to view the daily funerals of Palestinians and see a Muslim people suffering besiege, confiscation and displacement can not be accepted."

Meantime, the Egyptian security authorities announced the detention of 9 members of Ikhwan al-Muslimin (Muslim Brothers) yesterday for 15 days over being suspected of carrying out acts of provocation against the government.
