Lebanese officials stresses strong Syrian- Lebanese stances

Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese Army, Michael Sulieman stressed yesterday the Syrian and the Lebanese peace tracks concomitance praising Syria's people and leadership who exerted intensified efforts in supporting and defending Lebanon.
He affirmed the presence of the Lebanese army in the South of Lebanon which "Israel occupies part of and kidnaps the Lebanese there -- as captives -- violating international laws and charters."
For his part, Lebanese member of Parliament, Sami al-Khateeb highly commended the two Presidents al-Assad and Lahoud's historical stances stressing the "standing cooperation and coordination between the Lebanese and the Syrian armies in facing the joint enemy represented by the international Zionism and Israel."
