Al - Shara in Abu Dhab confers with Sheikh Khalifa

Abu Dhabi crown prince, Khaleifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan received in Abu Dhabi yesterday Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara and an accompanying delegation.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the regional and international situation particularly in the occupied Palestine and in Iraq.

The two sides stressed that "the Israeli policy which rejects all peaceful solutions is the source of danger threatening the stability and security of the region and the world as a whole."

Concerning Iraq, both sides viewpoints were similar regarding the necessity for forming a national government representing the Iraqi people's aspirations.

Talks also dealt with the work of the joint Syrian-Emirates Higher Committee which will hold its forthcoming meeting in Damascus at the end of this year.

The two sides agreed on boosting bilateral relations in all domains in the interest of both countries.
