Lahoud calls for peace based on 'land for peace' formula

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud has stressed the necessity for achieving just and comprehensive peace based on the "land for peace " formula and the implementation of international resolutions.
In a speech delivered by Lebanese State Minister Abdulraheem Murad on behalf of Lahoud, on the occasion of opening the First festival of Arab Student held yesterday in Lebanon, Lahoud said that "despair and frustration will not shake our belief that the resistance is the only way of liberation."
Arab Students from Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, Tunis, Jordan and Lebanon are taking part in the one - week festival.
