Palestine-Israel, Military, 8/25/2003

The Israeli forces yesterday continued assassination operations against the Palestinians as four members of Ezz Eddine al-Qassam Brigade, the military wing of the Hamas movement, were killed in an attack by Israeli Apache planes against Gaza.

Witnesses said that Apache helicopters raided yesterday evening a car carrying four persons in the main street on Gaza's coast. They added: the helicopters fired two missiles in the beginning of the attack against the car but the passengers were able to leave it before it was hit, and they were chased by the helicopters and three missiles were fired on them and this resulted to killing them and wounding other 10 persons who were in the area.

Palestinian sources said that the four killed Palestinians are: Ahmad Shtewei, Walid al-Hommous, Muhammad Abu Labdeh and Ahmad Abi Hilalah.
