Al-Rai al-Aam: Al-Shara to visit Kuwait

The Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Aam issued yesterday said that the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara will today ( Monday) pay a visit to Kuwait in the course of a Gulf tour which will cover Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
Well-informed Syrian sources told the paper that al-Shara will concentrate in his talks with Gulf officials on prospects of revitalizing inter- Arab solidarity and latest developments on the Palestinian territories, foremost being the development of conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and Iraq as well as the development of cooperation and bilateral relations.
Al-Shara visit is in the context of preparation for President Bashar al-Assad's visit to these states.
