Powell, Mubarak phone call on Palestinian conditions

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak received yesterday a phone call from the US secretary of State Colin Powell on conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the current deterioration there.
The telephone call also underlined the importance of continued US efforts with the Palestinian and Israeli sides to rescue the grave situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
