Progress in prisoners file between Hizbullah and Israel

The secretary general of the Hizbullah Party Hassan Nasrullah has announced that progress was attained in the indirect negotiations between the party and Israel concerning the file of detainees, stressing that this file will be solved and completed shortly.
Upon inaugurating a hospital for the party in al-Hermel town to the north east of Lebanon, Nasrullah said that "this issue is on hot fire, and will be finalized shortly." Nasrullah gave no explanations to this effect, expressing his regret for the way the mass media is dealing with this issue."
Last Monday, Nasrullah announced that negotiations with Israel concerning the file of the detainees will start shortly. He said that certain contacts have actually started and expressed his hope that the German mediation will produce results.
He denounced the Israeli policy of assassination against the leaders of the Palestinian resistance. He said that Israel will not be able to halt the resistance "because it is deeply rooted within all throughout ages."
Worthy mentioning that Hizbullah has held since October 2000 four Israelis, including three military men seized in the occupied Shebaa farms area at the Lebanese, Syrian, Israeli borders. Israel has expressed its conviction that they were killed. The fourth is the Israeli al-Hanan Tananboum which Israel said is a businessman while Hizbullah said he is an officer in the Israeli intelligence.
Israel is holding 20 Lebanese including two leaders of Hizbullah party. They are Sheikh Abdul Karim Obeid who was kidnapped in the Lebanese territories in 1989 and Mustafa al-Deirani who was also kidnapped from inside the Lebanese territories in 1994.
