UNICEF hails Morocco's progress in childhood realm

The Moroccan people, government and at their forefront King Mohammed VI, should "be praised for the remarkable progress achieved in favor of childhood," UNICEF director General, Carol Bellamy said.
Bellamy, who is taking part in the World Youth Congress, held in Casablanca August 16-28, told "Le Matin du Sahara et du Maghreb" that she discussed with several Moroccan officials issues related to young rural girls' schooling and programs backed by UNICEF in this field.
