Moussa, Maher meet with the Iraqi governing council tomorrow

The spokesman for the Arab League Hesham Youssef said yesterday that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa will receive a delegation representing the transitional governing council in Iraq tomorrow in Cairo in order to discuss all details relating to the Iraqi issue.
The meeting is the first of its kind between Moussa and members of the governing council. News reports said that the delegation which will arrive today in Cairo from Saudi Arabia will also meet with the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher.
The reports added that the talks which the delegation will be held at the headquarters of the Egyptian foreign ministry will deal with "developments of conditions in Iraq and means of restoring back things to normalcy in this country." The delegation is headed by the chairman of the council Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
