Al-Arabia TV: Bin Laden is still alive ?
Regional, Local, 8/18/2003

The al-Arabia TV said yesterday broadcasted what was described in a tape as the voice of a spokesman for al-Qaida organization in which he said that the leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden is alive and in a good health.

The channel attributed the tape to al-Qaida official Abdul Rahman al-Najdi who lives in Afghanistan and who also urged the Iraqis to continue Jihad (struggle) against the American forces which occupy their countries.

The taped voice said he wants to make assurances to all Muslims everywhere that Sheikh Osama ( Bin Laden) is in good conditions and that the leader of the Afghani Taliban movement, al-Mulla Omar, is also in a good condition. The voice added he wants to congratulate "brothers in Iraq over their brave struggle against occupation and calling them to continue struggle."
