Message from Arafat to the Amir of Kuwait

The Kuwaiti official news agency KUNA said that the Amir of Kuwait received a message from the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat dealing with the situation in the Palestinian territories.
The agency said that the Kuwaiti cabinet held a meeting yesterday that started with briefing on the content of the message addressed to the Amir of the country from Arafat and pertains to latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The agency did not disclose the content of Arafat's message, but it comes just few days the aborting a planned visit that was due by the Palestinian prime minister Mahmoud Abbas. The cancellation came over the Palestinian official stand concerning the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990, and Kuwait's demand for apologies.
