Syrian- Malaysian economic relations in a press conference

Syria's Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa Miro and his Malaysian Counterpart, Mahateer Muhammad held yesterday in Damascus a joint press conference. Miro asserted that these discussions were the base for a new stage of bilateral cooperation in the economic, scientific, educational, technical, communication, commercial, banking and cultural fields.

Meantime, The two sides also signed understanding memos of cooperation in the scientific and technology fields, information and communication technology and another one between the Syrian Central Bank and the Malaysian Nigara Bank.

A memo of understanding between Syrian Ministry of Education and the Malaysian Multiple Educational Aid development Body and the memo of understanding for financial affairs.
