Israeli forces invade Qalqilya, detain official in al-Jihad movement

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening invaded the city of Qalqilya to the north of the West Bank and detained two Palestinians. One of them is Akef Nazzal ( 28 year old) a local official in the Islamic Jihad movement.

Israeli soldiers broke into several houses in the city and fire was exchanged between armed Palestinians and the soldiers but no casualties were reported. The Israeli forces pulled out from the city at dawn.

On the other hand, Palestinian sources said the occupation forces demolished in Balat camp, the house of the family of Amjad Salim, member of al-Aqsa group who was killed by the Israeli forces on May 17.

On Friday Israel demolished in the same camp the house of Ammar Abu Afash family who was an activist at al-Aqsa group, who was killed in the same attack.
