Al-Ahram: Obeid: resistance is legitimate

Lebanese Foreign Minister, Jean Obeid has stressed Syria and Lebanon's commitment to their "national firm and principled stances" concerning the restoration of occupied Golan and Shabaa farms.
In an interview with Egyptian al-Ahram al-Arabi magazine issued in Cairo yesterday, he underlined that the Syrian- Lebanese strategic interests determine the two states' stances and relations asserting that the current challenges facing the two states require a high level of coordination.
He confirmed that "Lebanese resistance is legitimate asserting the Arabs' right to fight the Israeli occupation and stressing that Israel is the only obstacle facing the peace process."
