Makadishu: 8 persons were killed in tribal clashes

Eye witnesses said yesterday that 8 persons were at least killed in a fire exchange between warring tribes in the Somali capital, Makadishu.

A group of men who were riding a small coach opened fire at another coach after they had blocked the road before it in one of the crowded streets of the capital.

The witnessed said that all 5 persons in the coach were killed and that two of the attackers were wounded. A salesman was killed and several passersby were also injured during the fire exchange.
