Abul Ragheb government wins confidence; new parties law drafted
The Jordanian parliament yesterday vowed confidence in the government of the prime minister Ali Abul Ragheb with majority vote of 84 against 23 parliamentarians who voted no confidence and one abstainee, at a time when Abul Ragheb strongly criticized the Islamic parliamentarians, denouncing "calls for freedom and democracy, and stressing "challenging for all those who try to violate the law."

Israeli forces invade Jenin, commander in Jihad movement killed
News reports in occupied Palestinian territories said that Israeli forces launched yesterday afternoon a large attack against Jenin camp to the north of the West Bank. The reports said that more than 20 military vehicles are besieging the camp amid intensive and random fire by the occupation forces.

Rare statue of God Amon Temple servant unearthed
A limestone statue of Kakar, one of the servants of God Amon latest temple was unearthed in the area of Tel Basta in Zagazig, Sharqiya governorate.. Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni said a mission of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) also discovered the remains of octagonal-shaped limestone columns with hieroglyphic inscriptions dating back to the same era of the statue, the Modern Kingdom (1550-1069 BC).
