China to set up project in North Suez Gulf zone
Egypt-China, Economics, 8/15/2003

The Chinese government decided to hold an exhibition of high-tech and pharmaceuticals in Egypt in September 8-25, said the Chinese ambassador in Cairo, Liu Xiao Minq.

The ambassador highlighted that his country used to take part in the Cairo International Fair in March every year, yet it was decided to have a special exhibition for Chinese products, the first of its kind abroad, in appreciation of the strong Egypt-China ties.

On the end of his tenure in Cairo, ambassador Liu said Egyptian-Chinese relations were strong and reached a satisfactory stage, yet, he added, the economic and trade ties need further efforts to be upgraded equal to the political ties.

China would set up several industrial and economic investments in the North of Gulf of Suez exclusive zone, after the official opening for investment in the exclusive zone.
