Layla Bin Ali stresses role of woman in comprehensive development

In a speech she delivered at the works of the national seminar on "the Tunisian woman, a partner of full rights," Tunisia's First Lady underlined the importance of the role played by women in comprehensive development.

Layla Bin Ali added that partnership between the man and woman in running family and social affairs is the key to progress," stressing that "no barriers exist in Tunisia today, or an impediment obstruction to this partnerships, thanks to the many options before women to acquire education, formation, getting involved in various fields of work and production, joining financing and investment fields and acquiring knowledge and skills."

She added that all of these enable women in Tunisia to excel in various professional fields.
