Israel demolishes 6 Palestinian homes, increases the state of alert

The Israeli occupation forces blew up by dynamite the house of a Palestinian youths in Askar camp for the Palestinian refugees in Nablus in the West Bank.
Palestinian and Israeli sources said that an Israeli force broke into the camp at dawn and cordoned the house of Khamis Jarwan (17 year old) and destroyed it to displace a family of ten members.
Jarwan was killed on Tuesday at dawn after he had detonated himself in Raas al- Ein town near Tel Aviv and this resulted in killing one Israeli and wounding 12 others.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces demolished five Palestinian houses in al-Walja village which belongs to Jerusalem city and this resulted in displacing 40 persons. The occupation authorities alleged that the houses were destroyed because of not have proper licensing.
Amnesty International said that, in all, Israel had destroyed 2000 houses since the beginning of the Palestinian Intifada in September 2000 for what it claims are "security reasons."
While the Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians in a breaking-in campaign in Nablus and its villages on Tuesday, the Israeli government placed its security departments in an utmost state of alert in the Tel Aviv area for fear of new suicide attacks.
The Israeli police installed check points on the road in Tel Aviv near the green line which singles out the West Bank and tightened inspection operations.
The Israeli radio quoted sources at the security departments as saying that it had received 21 warnings on intended attacks against Israeli objectives.
However, in an official statistics issued by the Palestinian authority, the general commission for information said that 2647 Palestinians were killed including 482 children, 178 woman in the past three years which followed the eruption of the Palestinian Intifada against the Israeli occupation forces.
The statistics also said that the number of the wounded Palestinians reached 36448 in addition to 7,000 prisoners.
The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli assassination operations was 241 while the Israeli occupation forces killed 25 members of the Palestinian medical teams.
