Greek official hold Israel responsible for deterioration in occupied lands

Member of the Political Secretariat and official of the Foreign and European policy at the Greek leftist coalition Party, Nichos Khondes, has held Israel responsible for the deteriorating situation in Palestine.
In a statement yesterday in Athens, he stressed that Israeli insistence on building the "racial separation wall, its criminal attacks in Nablus, imposing siege on the Palestinians and its rejection to implement the roadmap, all these factors cause the escalation of tension in the region."
He stressed that the European Union and the international community should interfere actively to save the truce and to compel Israel to stop its violations of the reached agreements calling on Israel to recognize the Palestinians' rights particularly their right to establish their independent state.
