UNICEF praises Mrs. Mubarak's efforts in support of women, children's rights

A UN children's Fund official expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, in support of the rights of women and children in Egypt.
Mubarak's announcement that 2003 would be the year of the Egyptian girl indicated the Egyptian's interest in women and children's welfare, said UNICEF representative Shahida Azfar in an address before a session on sustaining the rights of girls, currently being held in Arish.
