Morocco will be represented at the international festival of the Francophone film (FIFF) in Namur, Belgium, by Faouzi Bensaid's movie "One Thousand Months."
The festival, to be held September 26-October 03, is renowned among French speaking cinema professionals as a privileged promotion event.
Some 150 short and long films representing 55 African, European and Asian countries, will be participating in this year at the FIFF, set up in 1986.
1,000 Months, a joint Moroccan-Belgian-French production, is Bensaid's first long movie. The Moroccan movie-maker's previous works are "La falaise," "Le Mur" and "Trajets." He is also a talented actor as seen in Nabil Ayouch's "Maktoub" and Jilali Ferhati's "Tresses."
