Moroccan princess wins high french distinction

Mrocco's Princess Lala Fatima Zohra, aunt of King Mohammed VI, and chairwoman of the National Union of Moroccan Women (UNFM) received France's Legion d'honneur Commander distinction from French President, Jacques Chirac.
The princess, the UNFM said in a release, has received a message from the French head of state on the decoration, which is a recognition of her "laudable action at the head of Moroccan associations and within international organizations for women's emancipation and for the promotion of their condition, and the consolidation of Moroccan-French ties."
