Morocco to take part in international gardens festival in Montreal

Morocco was invited along with Spain and Italy to take part in the Mediterranean edition of the International Gardens Festival of Grand-Metis that will highlight the kingdom's customs and attractive peculiarities.
The 4th edition of the festival that is considered one of the most prestigious in North America will continue until half September and initiate the usual 100,000 visitors to Mediterranean charms and splendors of nature through three young designers from Spain, Italy and Morocco.
The festival organizers plan to organize a "Moroccan afternoon" to allow the public discover some aspects of Moroccan traditional music and dance with the presence of Moroccan artisans. Moroccan traditional outfits and artworks will be showcased by Quebecer from Moroccan origin and people of the region who have passion for Morocco.
The Festival takes place on the site of Reford Gardens every summer since 2000 from the end of June to mid-September.
